Nordson brake pad coating systems provide automatic uniform powder coating of automotive friction pads, with an industry proven design.
Powder application at high speeds is optimized through precision control of all gun parameters for varying part sizes, line spacings, and film thickness requirements.
Nordson can supply either Tribomatic® II spray guns which allow for high efficiency at high line speeds. Or, when paint wrap around the friction pads needs to be minimized, corona-charge guns are recommended. In flat-line applications, the Faraday-cage effect of corona guns will limit part wrap. Underside coatings can also be applied.
Our flat line booths are designed for either colour change or for single colour applications.
Nordson offers a variety of gun charging methods for optimized application efficiency. With closed-loop digital flow technology and part recipes, process control is optimized and powder usage is minimized, accommodating varying part widths, line gaps, and film thickness requirements.
